Buff Molten Armor

[:1]I have no problem with the crit bonus. I believe the other aspects of the armor are a little lacking.

1. I believe Molten Armor should have a 5% damage reduction across the board in addition to a 5% critical chance reduction. Arcane would still be better against spells, Frost would be better against melee, but Molten Armor would be a happy medium.
2. Molten Armor should return a small amount of mana when healed. I suggest 10% of healing be returned as mana. Unless you're main-tanking, that's a trivial amount of mana. (100k worth of heals to get 10k mana.)
#2 would be super duper amazing.

EDIT: It could also be put in as a glyph. Glyph of Molten Replenishment... or something.
You'd be surprised how often you get healed for 100k. Or how often fire mages would stand in the fire :)
I stand in fire a lot less on my mage when I am fire than when I'm arcane. The only cool things you can do on the move as Arcane wipe your stacks, and Fire can Scorch/Blastwave/Fireblast while moving.

Really, the point of the armors is trade-off. They also cost nothing, IIRC, so there's nothing to stop you from using Molten Armor for the dipiss, and switching to Mage Armor if you underestimate the length of the fight/your mana usage.
One reason this was suggested was because if you're Arcane and you're doing PvE the choose of armor is a no-brainer. You use Mage Armor unless you're in a fight where mana is virtually unlimited. First off, much of the incidental raid damage you'll take is magical in some form and Mage Armor is the only armor that gives resistance. And if it's a DoT, the damage is often curtailed even further.

Also, every spec seemes to have mana efficiency problems. This puts armor types that don't address this (every type except Mage Armor) at a noticeable disadvantage. For a mage with 100k max mana, Mage Armor will yield an additional 3600MP every 5 seconds. Given my suggestion, you'd have to be healed for an average of 7200HP per second to match Mage Armor (with Glyph). For a 5 minute fight (300 seconds), you'd have to receive well over 2 million HP of healing to match Mage Armor's returned mana. That strikes me as a lot of healing for somone that isn't a tank.

Obviously there are many ways to improve Fire and Frost's mana efficiency, but Molten Armor should actually - well, PROTECT you in some way shape or form. So I'd be willing to bend on #2, but I think #1 is a good suggestion. I hope there's a consensus there.

number two would be op for raiding arcane mages. Unlimited burn phase.
