PvE Frost Buff

I am a frost mage and I find it really fun
however it seems its harder to be number one
my dps is great some say I'm insane
but the rest all just say you'll do more as arcane
all I can do is sit there unable to disagree
thinking to myself frost needs buffed for PVE
I know its hard because of arena and battlegrounds
frost is amazing there by leaps and bounds
but in the end that's not what this is about
I want more dps for the new raids to try out
just a justifiable boost so I can compete
with the raid specs that most would call elite
nothing amazing just as much as the rest
please dear blizzard put a frost buff on test

You know, you're right, I totally agree
Arcane shouldn't be the only for PvE
Frost and Fire, they're way more fun
Especially if they, too, can get the job done
However, PvP balance is important too
They can't figure out how to fix it... Oh boo.
So I guess we'll just have to wait and see
If Fire and Frost are good in 4.3;
The next patch, since it's not out yet
But you can be sure to bet
I have a feeling they're making more changes
To our class, you know, the Mages!

I think I have to disagree
Arcane is really a wonderful spec for you and me
Sure there are prefereneces and favorites too
And to think you cant play them makes me go boohoo
Instead of taking on the impossible task
Blizzard, make 2 frost specs I ask
One for those that battle other players
And one for them, those final boss slayers
But if this request is denied to me
Then maybe blizzard will make arcane suitable for thee
With the core still the same and the playstyle more fun
Arcane could really be the one (that players enjoy)

sorry for the () ran out of steam at the end. I really think that in 5.0 blizzard will make arcane a viable and more fun spec to play. I really enjoy the base playstyle and with elements of frost PvE in there it could be an original spec. just small elements not all of frost but some fun extras. That would leave the frost spec Free for PvP only.
i will agree there 5.0 does open up alot of possiblilities but that is still quite some time away atleast 6 months or so i believe there buffing fire in the next content patch so i hope they will try and find a way to do so with frost aswell. Deep freeze has completely different effects for pve and pvp since in one its a stun and in the other its large damage but if this is all they can buff to try and even the damage without affecting pvp it would have to be a large amount and might scrue things up so in all honesty i cant think of a good way thats what im hoping they can do.


Maby they can reduce the cooldown on deep freeze if it hits immune targets.

Yeah, Switch suggested making DF an execute, and similar to priest's shadow word death. It'd be great to have a glyph that reset the CD on DF in PvE if the target was below 25% health and didn't die from the spell. Or if that's too homogenized, just make it part of the spell. My main is a shadow priest, and I wouldn't really care either way. It's not like we have a ton of prime glyphs we could be using if we didn't "have" to get that one. Dispersion maybe? Sometimes I use that for Baleroc, but it's pretty meh in general.

It seems silly to NOT buff DF damage and Blizzard, with the argument that it's hard to balance frost for pvp and pve. Neither one of those buffs would affect pvp.
While I don't have much to speak,
This post makes all the others look weak.
The forums could be a much better place,
If every player of every race
Was required to post in verse form,
It might just make the place a bit more warm.
