[:1]So I was looking at my raid group, turns out I'm on the top of the gear pile. I know my dps is ok, but it should/could be much better. I know my gear is gemmed and reforged properly. I have the basic grasp of what I need to do obviously. What addons are you all using to track procs and whatnot?

I know to line up AP/gem with torrent, trink and lightweave, I move as little as possible etc etc the basic stuff is down for me.

Any info would be great. Tired of being out of the top 2-3 people on dps.

I also understand that certain fights you just can't hit the high numbers based on responsibilities.

Yeah, I got hit 3 or 4 times in a row with Leaping Flame at one point. I do inviso off the seeds unless forced to drop threat at the beginning with my burn going, sometimes it seems I have to do that. I'm also the goto person on almost every fight when some mechanic needs to be handled, Rageface, Beth going up, orbs etc etc

Yeah Alysrazor I need to get a macro to not use Hotstreak! apparently to up my dps there. I do usually pull around 51k or so on that.

Rhyolith I'm sort of at a loss as to what to do. My aoe sucks, our hunter and lock blow the small adds away. Should I just go to the opposite leg that the melee are on to help out there? Or just run around with my crummy AE on the small adds?

Any addons that can help me track my procs better? Or should I look for a different UI than x-perl for that?

Ok, I'll check out those addons.

Ah right, that does make sense. I'll put that to use next Wensday when we start fresh.


I've been lulled into being lazy with my last raid group, this one we actually get things done and I don't want to be carried lol.
