Is this class still overpowered?

[:1]Hey. I meant to unsubscribe a month ago, but I since I still have some time left before it expires I guess I'll play some more.

Anyways, I am very bored of my shaman. For one being that in my opinion shamans are inferior to a lot of other classes in most cases. Another being that I am simply bored of the play-style.

My point is, I am sick of the days where I was treated like second-rate Azerothian because I was an enhancement shaman. Why have an enhancement shaman when you could have a frost DK? Or a subtlety rogue that has over 6 TIMES AS MUCH CC as we do.

So really I am deciding between Paladin, Mage, and DK at this point. Paladin because then I would have the ability to heal if I wanted to...

So, TL;DR or the summary of this is... are Mages (mainly) and also if you know, DKs and Paladins viable for PvP AND PvE still?

I am very sick of being underpowered. And if I ever come back to this game for a significant amount of time I want to be useful, not second rate.

Agreed. If you don't know how to mitigate your damage to a reasonable level so as not to Over DPS, which is surprisingly easy, you'll die fairly quickly.
