Fire PvP viability 4.3

Frost will still be better.

Fire is viable now in arenas and will just get better with the damage buffs.

Frost is still gonna rock especially with all the extra mastery we're going to get.
Fire is going to be ridiculously scary to fight though. against anybody. its going to give people nightmares of dropping from 100-0 once that combustion goes out and their healer is in a full polymorph.
Not only do the buffs affect our damage overall but our burst with combustion since the DoT's have been increased so will our burst.

although the same can be said of frost, people will literally be globaled in a double shatter DF. (thank you DTR)


I will still be more afraid of combustion on any of my 85's than the deepfreeze.
As jim is saying a perfect combustion (critical pyroblast, and living bomb) will murder you.

Edit: the downside is your damage is weak outside of combust and it can be dispelled.
IDK, I think a DF would be scarier. Yes combust will murder you, but you still have the ability to dispel it and then you're screwed.

DF damage is pretty "instant" and if it's dispeled well you set up another shatter 5 seconds later.
